Plant Genetic Manipulation (MSc)


Course Description

This course is designed to provide students with specialist knowledge of the theory and practical skills of plant genetic manipulation relevant to plant biotechnology, plant breeding and genome research, leading to appropriately trained scientists for employment in agro-industry, academia and research institutes.

The course is suitable for graduate UK and International Students who have an appropriate background (or work place experience) in the Biological Sciences.

The course is taught by leading experts from the Division of Plant and Crop Sciences, based in a superbly equipped plant sciences building. In fact we have one of the largest Plant Science Departments in the UK.

Entry Requirements

2.2 (or international equivalent) in a relevant subject. Applicants holding other qualifications may also be accepted; English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element).
