Course Description

This is a high quality taught graduate course which has ESRC recognition under its "1+3" awards system, specifically designed to train students in the use of analytic and quantitative methods in examining economic issues, and provide research training of the level required to proceed to a PhD programme in Economics. MSc Economics Scholarship - 7 Awards

The School of Economics will be offering seven full scholarships to cover Home/EU fees (£7,670) on 2015-16 Masters courses. International students are also eligible, in which case the £7,670 scholarship will cover just over half of the International student fees. The criteria for consideration of this scholarship is based on academic performance; therefore students who have, or expect to achieve, a first class degree will automatically be considered for this award. There is no separate application process, eligibility will be based on the information provided in your application. If you do not wish to be considered for this scholarship, please note this in your personal statement. The deadline for applications that can be considered for scholarships is Friday 27th February 2015. Successful applicants will be notified of the award of the scholarship by Friday 10th April 2015.
