This three-year taught part-time Masters programme is suitable for students who wish to improve their knowledge, understanding and research expertise in the area of pharmaceutical technology and quality assurance. This Masters level qualification meets the needs of those requiring a higher degree and the programme is designed to provide training, skills and knowledge that would help support subsequent applications.
Normally an honours degree (minimum 2:2), or the equivalent in pharmacy or a related scientific or healthcare discipline. Non-graduates must possess professional experience and demonstrate their academic ability. A 2-page document detailing experience and reasons for application must be submitted in support of the application. Non-graduate candidates will be invited to attend an interview. All candidates must have access to appropriate practice and facilities in the workplace to allow the undertaking of work based assignments; in addition all candidates must provide evidence of support from their manager/department to attend the residential teaching component and to attend visit/placements as necessary.
