The management of customer and supplier relationships is one of the tasks of marketing. This requires an effective understanding of how these relationships work. Specific skills are required for this task. Graduates from this programme will have acquired competencies to meet the requirements for a professional career in companies of different size. The aim of the programme is to prepare participants to assume positions of general management or to take up specialised positions such as product and marketing managers. Another option would be to take on professional work in marketing research and communications.
The Foundation for the Lugano Faculties of USI and the Università della Svizzera italiana, will award a total of 60 one-off study grants of the amount of 4'000 CHF each.Distribution of the grants will be as followed: 20 grants will be awarded to students that pursued a Bachelor degree at a Swiss University, 20 to students that pursued a Bachelor degree at an Italian University and 20 to students that pursued a Bachelor degree in a University from other countries.
Value of Scholarship(s)
The merit based grants are given to students admitted as first-year students of a USI Master programme. Merit is determined based on the results of the academic degree that gives access to the Master (usually the bachelor's).
Candidates are kindly asked to send the complete application by July 31st. All applicants will be notified by the middle of August.
The programme is intended for students who have obtained a Bachelor's degree. Candidates are expected to have acquired basic concepts of management, economics, marketing and statistics. Tutorials in these areas are offered before the beginning of the programme or during the second semester (statistics). A good command of English is needed (applicants whose first degree was not taught in English, are encouraged to earn an English proficiency certificate - e.g. TEOFL, IELTS).
