The Master’s course is divided into three main subject areas: Italian language / Italian and comparative literature/ Arts, History and Civilization, in a holistic educational process which aims to blend knowledge from different fields separated only by disciplinary boundaries. Italian literature, a central subject, is thus offered in the context of the civilization in which it is created and studied. The Master’s course offers three specific job prospects: teaching Italian, both language and civilization; work as a bibliographer and archivist for libraries and archives; conservation of art and heritage manuscripts for museums and “collective memory” legacy management.
