This Established and popular programme addresses concerns and practical strategies in relation to difficulty, disability and/or disadvantage within and accross educational settings. It is focused on the needs and development of teachers and other professionals working alongside children and young people who are vunerable, challenging and have additional educational needs. Programmes are mostly taught in the evenings and weekends and full cognisance is paid to the varying professional workload of members through the academic year.
The programme is taught in three self contained annual stages so it is possible to spread your studies over a longer period if necessary. All previous work completed at M Level either at Canterbury or elsewhere is fully accredited (up to half the programme, 90 out of the 180 credits required)
The programme has the support of the Teaching Training Agency which means tuition fees are kept to very affordable prices.
