This is a three year course consisting of taught courses, school development work and a dissertation. We explore language and literacy, texts and contexts as well as current issues. teachers join a lively network of literacy professionals and extend their confidence, competence, knowledge and understandin of language, literacy and learning. Programmes are mostly taught in the evenings and weekends and full cognisance is paid to the varying professional workload of members through the academic year. The programme is taught in three self contained annual stages so it is possible to spread your studies over a longer period if necessary.
