The LLB provides a legal education for graduates in disciplines other than law. It is designed to cater for the requirements of the graduate who wishes to add a law degree to his/her undergraduate training. Ideal for non-law graduates who wish to enter the legal profession. Law graduates from civil law jurisdictions will find that the programme provides a through foundation in the common law.
Objective are to provide students with knowledge and skills ordinarily associated with a degree level legal education embracing legal knowledge, research ability, analytical skills, conflict resolution, conflict avoidance, critical evaluation, personal skills and legal ethics.
Primary degree or equivalent in a discipline other than law (Primary Degree: Level 8 NQAI). Places on the programme are limited and entry is competitive.Please note that this is a level 8 qualification (undergraduate) and will attract similar fees.
