The overall aim of the Adult Nursing programme is to provide registered nurses with the opportunity to enhance previously acquired professional education and develop critical inquiry, knowledge and skills, attributes and competencies in preparation for developing roles within nursing.
The Graduate Diploma level programme will be offered over one year. The MSc programme will be offered over a subsequent year.
Applicants should normally possess a Primary Degree (Level 8 - National Qualifications Authority of Ireland) and have been engaged in practice as a Registered Nurse for at least two years. Those who do not meet the normal academic requirements will also be considered. All students must be registered with the An Bord Altranais and demonstrate proof of access to relevant practice placements.
