Professional Diploma in Education Technology

Course Description

The programme is a full-time programme over three academic semesters. In the Spring semester 1 students complete a number of subject specific modules aimed at developing the skills and knowledge in their specialist subject areas. In the Autumn semester 2 students have a teaching practice placement in a school every Monday of the semester. On campus modules include subject specific modules and modules addressing educational theory and practice. The final semester, in the Springtime, begins with a 5 week teaching practice placement. Following this placement, students return to campus to complete a number of education related modules.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must hold a degree (level 8) in a relevant Engineering/Technology or Construction/Wood technology discipline
