The University of Limerick have been delivering specialist, professional project management education for over 20 years. This 2 year, part time, fully online, level 9 course is fully accredited masters by the University of Limerick.
The programme is fully aligned with the University of Limerick standard course structure. There are two 'taught' semesters of 15 weeks each with 3 Autumn modules and 2 Spring modules per year, with project work during the Summer. Prior to starting the programme, learners participate in a 1 week on-line induction.
The programme will be delivered through a blend of online interaction and engagement with academics and industry professionals, remote self-directed learning, and group project work, discussions, debates and presentations. Each module will have a specific learning path design offering flexibility of access to materials, video/audio recordings and live interactions through a dedicated learning management portal. The mode of delivery is designed to accommodate the needs of the post-experienced learner undertaking part-time study and will include continuous assessment and feedback to track learning progress and critical reflections throughout the programme. In addition learners will have the opportunity to carry out in-company project and research at key stages of the programme, to develop and reflect on learning outcomes achieved through application in a variety of organisatinal settings.

Normally a level 8 primary degree and a minimum of four years experience working in a project environment. The Course Board reserves the right to interview candidates as it deems necessary as part of the selection process and in exceptional cases Recognitin of Prior Learning may be taken into account where minimum academic requirements are not met.
