MSc Forensic Psychology


Course Description

The principal aim of the Course is to equip students with a sound knowledge and understanding of a broad range of topics in forensic and legal psychology. This knowledge includes not only an appreciation of theory and fact, but also an awareness of the strengths and limitations of research evidence, as well as its applications. This should enable students to seek employment in the field of forensic psychology with a view eventually to obtaining the status of Chartered Forensic Psychologist. Course modules: Juvenile Delinquency, Legal Psychology, Criminology, Research Methods, Psychology and the Courts, Assessment and Treatment of Criminal Behaviour.
