MSc Food Science (General)


Course Description

The School of Food Science and Nutrition (formerly the Procter Department of Food Science) was one of the first University departments in the UK to teach Food Science and to establish a Research School, in the early 1960s.
The MSc degree course is an advanced conversion course, designed to prepare science graduates for a career in the Food Industry. The scheme of study leading to the MSc in Food Science is very wide ranging, and provides an in-depth understanding of the science of foods.

Entry Requirements

A bachelor degree with a 2:2 (hons) or equivalent in a relevant science subject
