MA Organizational Behaviour


Course Description

Our MA Organizational Behaviour provides a comprehensive grounding in the behaviour of individuals and groups, as well as the organisational systems they operate in.

Learning focuses on real-world scenarios, allowing students to develop not only their academic knowledge and expertise but also practical skills for a successful career.

The course provides understanding of the way organisations operate, as well as the skills to identify, analyse and solve complex business problems in the area of organisational development and change. Students also examine the recruitment, training and management of individuals and teams in relation to key measures of organisational effectiveness.

Careers

Graduates will be in a strong position to pursue a career in the private or public sector in a range of roles that require knowledge of human behaviour in the workplace. This may include careers as a consultant in organisational development or change management, a team coach or running your own business.

Business School General Scholarships - 20+ Awards

There are two financial awards for University of Leeds alumni joining the Business School:- Leeds Alumni Bursary
University of Leeds graduates are entitled to a 10% bursary towards tuition fees. Leeds graduates with a First Class undergraduate degree are also eligible for the Leeds University Business School Alumni Excellence Scholarship (details below). - Leeds University Business School Alumni Excellence Scholarship
University of Leeds graduates who achieved a First Class award in their undergraduate degree are eligible for this scholarship. Fully funded students are not eligible for this scholarship.

10% bursary towards fees

Eligibility

- Leeds Alumni Bursary
If you are a former student of the University of Leeds you may be eligible for a 10% alumni tuition fee bursary. - Leeds University Business School Alumni Excellence Scholarship
University of Leeds graduates who achieved a First Class award in their undergraduate degree are eligible for this scholarship. Applicants who qualify for this scholarship are also entitled to receive the Leeds Alumni Bursary (details above) and so resulting in a total award of 20%. All eligible applicants with an offer to study a Masters programme beginning in September 2017 will automatically be advised by our Admissions team.

To be considered for the scholarship you must:- Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for the relevant Masters programme for 2017/2018
- Demonstrate an excellent academic track record
- Show excellent professional and personal skills evidenced through work experience and/or extra-curricular activities.

Value of Scholarship(s)

Half-fee scholarship towards the cost of tuition fees

Eligibility

Particularly deserving UK/EU applicants wishing to undertake the MA Organizational Behaviour in 2017/18.

Entry Requirements

A good first degree (2.1 or higher) in a business or social science subject, or international equivalent. Applicants who can demonstrate significant relevant coverage as part of a degree in an alternative subject will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Work experience is desirable but not essential.If English is not your first language you need to attain a recognised English language qualification e.g. IELTS with an overall score of 6.5 with a score of 6 or more in each section.
