This part-time degree is aimed at teachers and school leaders who want to explore the potential of evidence-based practice in the classroom.
You’ll develop in-depth knowledge of teaching and learning alongside advanced skills in professional enquiry, improving your research skills and learning to analyse the evidence you gather. We believe that better understanding of school-based research not only supports professionals, but allows them to make their own practice more effective and contribute to school improvement.
Through a series of Saturday schools and time spent on research of your own, you’ll study core modules exploring how evidence-based practice can help you to develop teaching and learning. You’ll also complete a research project of your own.
Taught by experts and experienced practitioners, this programme will equip you with the skills to become an effective practitioner-researcher, as well as broadening your skills and enhancing your prospects of promotion.
