Course Description

This programme for experienced TESOL professionals will equip you to use ICT in developing TESOL materials or delivering teaching.

Suitable for teachers, teacher trainers, language school directors, curriculum developers, inspectors, lecturers and materials writers, the programme offers you practical experience of using ICT to develop learners’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. You’ll also experience e-learning first-hand, as you learn through a mixture of face-to-face and online methods.

You’ll study the same core modules as students on other TESOL programmes, exploring how people learn languages and the strategies that have been developed for language teaching. Then you’ll choose from optional modules focusing on the use of ICT in TESOL, including digital learning environments and the practice of digital learning.

Taught by expert practitioners and researchers, this programme will give you the skills and confidence to use ICT as a key asset in the classroom.
