Student Profile

Luis Antonio Ayala Caballero

After a research through different universities and comparing their compulsory modules and optional, I found the University of Leeds offered the perfect programme for me, including basics modules for an automotive engineering master's but adding modules that would have a perfect relation between other engineering disciplines.

One of the best aspects of the course was receiving help from my teachers and classmates; the people here are helpful and every teacher makes a space in their agenda to clear any doubt - you have you just need to write an email and it is done. On the other hand, the libraries and the clusters are perfect to focus and finish all your coursework in time - those are helpful places.

So far my professional project is one of the best things I have to do in my master degree. First, I did not know anything about the topic, and in my first semester I took “Introduction to Tribology”, which helped me to understand. I really like my professional project which is called “Humidity effect on tribological systems”.
