MA/LLM in Criminology with Human Rights


Course Description

The Department of Social Sciences and the School of Law have joined forces to offer an innovative degree in Criminology and Human Rights. The degree explores the changing relationships between crime, criminal justice and human rights. The degree is composed of core courses in the theory and law of human rights, in criminological theory, and in human rights violations and criminology. It offers wide ranging options including courses in international human rights law, criminal justice, the law of self determination and research methods. The degree can be taken as an MA or an LLM.
