Sanjin Berberkic

608.JPG Recently completing his Master’s course, Sanjin reflects on his time at the University of Huddersfield.

“Back in Paris, a group of UK universities came to talk about the courses available at each institution. After the presentations, the University of Huddersfield seemed the best choice for me and I decided to come to study the final year electronic and communication systems BEng.

“One of the reasons I came to the UK to study was the teaching methods; they are completely different to that of France, which has far more lectures and less independent study time. Also, I wanted to meet new people from different cultures and origins. I have been lucky enough to meet people from all around the world, Bangladesh, India, Slovakia, Poland and China.

“After my graduation, I was asked if I was interested in doing a Master’s. I enjoyed the fact that the course was industry oriented, with lots of laboratory works. I know I have learned a lot during my time at Huddersfield.

“My proudest moment is by far the presentation of my Master’s project to my lectures, I had put a lot of time and energy in to that project and I was really proud to show them the results of my hard work.

“Just recently graduating, I am now pursuing a PhD in the area of renewable energy, a challenge that I am really looking forward to.”
