The MA by Research is unique for its flexibility, including opportunities for all aspects of music making, and is particularly suitable for students with multidisciplinary interests.
You’ll have opportunities to collaborate with other composers, performers and musicologists, work with visiting guest musicians and researchers, and perform in the University’s regular concert series. In addition to the purpose-built facilities in the Creative Arts Building, your base, our well-resourced Music Library is only two-minutes’ walk away, and is particularly notable for its extensive collection of 20th and 21th century scores and recordings, including the resources of the British Music Collection.
