Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc

Course Description

Within a business context, it is now recognised that one of the main ways in which competitive advantage can be gained is through the effective and efficient management of the supply chain - the term used to describe the flow of products or services from their point of origin through to the final point of sale or use. Logistics is essentially an interactive process within the supply chain it seeks to optimise these flows, from both a physical and information standpoint.

This course provides the essential framework, concepts and toolkit required for the strategic management of logistics and the supply chain.

You can:

• Learn through innovative teaching techniques including: cases, simulations and interactive games

• Gain the opportunity to network with experts from industry, exploring real-world expertise

• Get an introduction to the enterprise resource planning software SAP

*The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics (CILT) and is seeking accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply

A good first degree (2.2 or above) in a wide range of disciplines or professional body equivalent. Applicants with the appropriate professional qualifications or relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
