Business with Finance MSc

Course Description

The MSc Business with Finance course is a generalist, conversion master's course. It has been designed to offer you the opportunity to develop the business skills needed to aspire to management positions in any profession. The course helps prepare for a career in business management and leadership in the UK or overseas through development of appropriate skills at a professional or equivalent level. Having undertaken dedicated modules relating to finance your degree award demonstrates specialized knowledge and skills in this area. The course is intended for graduates who have not previously studied business or management, who are interested in gaining more in-depth qualification in Finance, and who lack the necessary depth of work experience for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course at Huddersfield.

Entry Requirements

A good first degree in any subject or equivalent. Other professional qualifications considered on a case-by-case basis. You will be given the opportunity to capitalise on previous experience and learning through the University's APLA and APEL accredited schemes.Practicing managers with relevant experience and academic potential will be considered on an exceptional basis.International applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in English language normally a score of 6.0 on International English Language Tests (IELTS).We encourage applicants to commit to contributing to the programme and broaden their own understanding and that of others on the course.
