Fine Art (PGCert, PGDip, MA)

Course Description

The MA in Fine Art offers an exciting opportunity for students to expand and deepen their knowledge and experience. It provides stimulating studio and theory studies to meet the needs of graduates wishing to develop their studio practice in a critical and supportive academic environment.

The programme provides you with a framework within which you will be encouraged to specialise, and through personal investigation to develop a substantial body of work. You will be expected to do so with critical reflection and to locate your work within a contemporary environment of ideas.
The programme also supports you in engaging with sustainability and the challenges inherent in building your artistic practice.

Its aim is for graduating students to be fully prepared as competitive arts professionals.

Visit the Fine Art (PGCert, PGDip, MA) page on the University of Gloucestershire website for more details!

And the flexible structure of the course is very important for postgraduates as they often have to balance work, family and study.”
