Early Years with EYTS (PGCert)

Course Description

Designed for professionals working in an early years setting, this course will enable you to become a specialist in early childhood development while gaining Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) and a recognised qualification in early years.

With endorsement from the government, this course recognises practitioners who have the skills needed to lead high-quality early years practice. The course takes a strong practical focus and is designed to be studied alongside work within an early years setting, enabling you to continue with your current employment while you study. If you do not currently have a role in an early years setting, we will support you to find a suitable placement.

To be awarded with Early Years Teacher Status, you will be required to meet the robust standards designed specifically for high quality work with this age group. This will make you ideally placed to fulfil the needs of employers for high quality education and care for babies and young children.

Visit the Early Years with EYTS (PGCert) page on the University of Gloucestershire website for more details!
