Course Description

Vocational Masters open to students from any degree background who want to start a chartered surveying profession in valuation, property investment and development with RICSs accreditation which is recognised globally. Previous graduates are employed in senior positions in the profession.

The Degree is fully accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) allowing graduates to proceed to the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) following appropriate work experience
The Degree has been running for over 20 years and has established a strong reputation among employers with many past graduates employed in senior positions in the profession.
Employers like the combination of first degree coupled with a postgraduate Masters degree in the specialist area

Upon receipt of a completed application form, successful applicants will be notified of the decision by email from the Graduate Business School office. At the very latest, we can confirm that successful applicants will receive notification within 7 working days of the closing date.If you have already applied and been made an offer by the University’s Graduate Business School, we will consider your application form and contact you further if you have also been successful in achieving a scholarship. Please note that this award is only open to applicants intending to start at Aberdeen in September 2015You may not apply after you have begun your programme at the University or defer your scholarship to the following year. Please note that late applications for the award for September 2015 entry will be considered on a case by case basis.Closing deadlineNew applicants are advised to submit their application for admission in 2015 as early as possible but please note that the final deadline for submission is midnight on 30th June 2015.

Each scholarship will have a value of £2,000 each and is available on a competitive basis, according to the following criteria:Applicants’ degrees need to be awarded by a recognised UGC accredited University, with normally a First Class Degree, and an excellent record of achievement.

The University of Aberdeen will also now offer 20 Masters scholarships for students from India for postgraduate Masters study in any subject offered by the Graduate Business School – excluding MBA programmes - for the 2015-2016 academic session.

Entry Requirements

A British second-class Honours degree) or above in any discipline. The English Language Requirement for all College of Arts and Social Sciences Masters programmes is an IELTS of 6.5 with 6.0 in the writing and reading (or equivalent TOEFL iBT or PTE).
