MSc Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Course Description

This BABCP accredited course will develop and hone your cognitive behavioural therapy skills, enabling you to genuinely make a difference to people’s lives.

This course is accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) at level two. The programme is delivered by accredited and practicing cognitive behavioural therapists who are supported by guest lecturers who provide specialist workshops.

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is an effective evidence based approach that is recommended in the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines as the treatment of choice for a wide range of mental health presentations. Trainees will learn to work with common mental health problems, such as mild to moderate anxiety and depression, progressing through their training to the treatment of more complex cases.
