Positive psychology has been defined many ways. For us, it involves a scientific study of well-being and optimal human functioning for individuals, groups, communities and organisations.
The course is delivered in a manner that encourages you to acknowledge and draw upon your skills, existing mastery and experience, while incorporating and exploring the knowledge, skills and applications of positive psychology.
A strong emphasis is placed on supporting the use and application of positive psychology in students' lives and work through personally chosen projects that form the basis of assessments.
The programme introduces and critically explores primary theories and research in posiitve psychology, and their inter-relationships. It will provide structured opportunities through which you may explore and apply positive psychology in personally-chosen areas.
