With the population of the UK ageing, the number of people diagnosed with this condition is set to rise, so a high level of person-centred care needs to be upheld. As a student of this Master’s degree, you can play a major part in delivering that quality care and raising awareness and understanding of this condition.
As a student of this programme, you will be able to demonstrate an appreciation of the characteristics of dementia and apply it directly to dementia care. The leadership focus of the degree ensures you know how to manage members of your team to be effectively trained and supported.
