On completion of this course, you will be equipped with a wide range of modern engineering and operations management tools and techniques required to manage 21st century engineering and manufacturing organisations. This course provides a number of opportunities for technical and management advancement through a selection of optional modules in specialist areas, which will enable you to contribute effectively in developing company capabilities and improving performance.
This course is academically rigorous and designed to enable engineering graduates and other professionals with an engineering background to pursue careers in management positions within engineering and manufacturing sectors. You will study through a variety of teaching methods including real case studies, workbased learning, research-based learning, laboratories, guest lectures, individual and group project work and interactive online materials.

You’ll normally need an appropriate engineering or science undergraduate degree (2:1 or above) or an equivalent professional qualification or significant industrial and professional experience. If English is not your first language, you’ll also need an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.
