This course is ideal for industry professionals looking for career progression in international hospitality management. We focus on application, assimilation, attitude and providing answers - practices that are central to hospitality leaders.
You will develop your understanding of the management of cultural diversity, the internationalisation of the industry, marketing, finance and strategy in a wide variety of contexts, including hotels, exhibitions, festivals, product launches, trade shows and sporting events. You will be taught by lecturers and guest speakers from industry and involved in consultancy work with our industry partners who regularly collaborate with us.
The flexible nature of this course also means you can study full or part-time. There is an e-learning option to study whilst in employment and if you study full-time, you can also undertake a placement in the UK or abroad.
An undergraduate degree (2:2 or above) or equivalent qualification from a British or overseas institution. All subjects are considered but possession of degrees or relevant work experience in related subjects will be advantageous. A significant portfolio of work at appropriate level or relevant professional qualifications is also desirable. International students should have the above or an international equivalent. If English is not your first language, you will need to hold IELTS 6 or above.
