The programme is modular and flexible, allowing full-time study over one academic year or part-time study over two academic years.
The programme is 50% theory and 50% practice and is integrated across the duration of the course. The theoretical component is undertaken at the University and the practical component in a clinical setting, under the supervision of a qualified professional ‘Mentor’ from the chosen specialist pathway.
A first degree in a related subject (minimum of second class honour) with evidence of continuing professional development. The criteria for entry on to the programme will be registration on the appropriate part of the NMC register for the chosen pathway.
