The Creative Industries span a wide range of areas such as marketing, film, TV, publishing, design and advertising. Together they form a large and developing sector of importance for the UK and global economies. This course is designed to develop professional managers for the rapidly evolving Creative Industries sector. Students will study management theory and practice and the context and operations of selected creative industry aspects. These management skills, which include managing innovation, people and finance, will complement students' prior technical or subject skills, gained from their work experience. Taught at Warrington Campus.
A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree or equivalent in any discipline will normally be required*. Prior experience of business and/or management is not required for entry onto this programme.*Applicants who have extensive experience and who demonstrate they have the academic potential to complete the award may be considered for entry.
