This programme focuses on the psycho-social aspects of families and the impact of family systems on the psychological development of children. The programme also offers the opportunity of focusing on the intersection between these areas of psychology and the legal system. More specifically, the programme aims to develop understandings of the implications of psychological theory and research for legal and social policy and practice.
This programme is suitable for graduates, and it is also aimed at early and mid-career professionals working in the fields of health, education, social welfare and social policy.
Minimum of lower second class honours degree (2:2) containing a substantial component of psychology, usually a single or combined honours psychology degree, or equivalent professional qualifications and relevant work experience.
