Early Years Practice with Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)


Course Description

An intensive programme of academic study and work-based learning. Early Years Teachers will be specialists in early childhood development, trained to work with babies and young children from birth to five.

Early YearsTeacher Status (EYTS), is a status awarded to successful candidates who have demonstrated effective personal practice and leadership skills whilst working in the private, voluntary or independent Daycare sector.

This programme draws on funding that is available for candidates registered with the CWDC for EYTS on the Full pathway.

Entry Requirements

Minimum of a lower second class honours degree (2:2), or equivalent. GCSE English Language, Maths and Science at grade C or above. Experience of working with children in a paid or voluntary capacity.
