Course Description

The MSc programme aims to offer maximum flexibility to general practitioners who can only participate in this type of programme part-time. It offers a mix of theoretical and practical skills appropriate to an ever-changing primary health care agenda. The emphasis will be upon effective service provision, efficient delivery by practitioners who are able to care for patients and themselves. The programme provides general practitioners with an understanding of managerial, clinical and educational issues that will develop general practice and with the complementary skills required to contribute to and influence development of primary care. There with be involvement by NW Deanery and RCGP NW Faculty in the delivery of some modules.

Entry Requirements

Must hold an MB ChB. Applicants must be actively engaged in general practice and all will be interviewed
