The MSc Finance and Management is a postgraduate programme that aims to provide participants with the opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge related to finance and management. This is an intensive course designed to fuse knowledge and empirical skills from the complementary areas of finance and management. Students will benefit from a wide range of facilities aiding their learning and training including our dedicated SAP accounting computer lab and state-of-the-art specialised trading information system terminal.
The MSc Finance and Management programme aims to provide you with a rigorous and challenging postgraduate education experience leading to the award of a Masters degree. This intensive 12-month programme offers you a range of key benefits, each of which will contribute to your development into an effective professional or manager working in finance and management context. You will:
- apply the latest thinking on financial and management to the analysis of the key problems being experienced by the world's major businesses - Develop a thorough understanding of finance and investment coupled with management theory and practice, strategic management and the business environment - achieve the understanding and skills necessary to utilise world-leading SAP software within financial and management context and thereby enhancing your career prospects - develop the research skills necessary to tackle financial and business management problems and issues and the study skills required to successfully engage in postgraduate study. - undertake your own postgraduate research work into a topic within the field of finance and management that has interest and relevance to your future career.
A recognised university undergraduate honours degree, with at least a Lower Second Class classification, or a professional qualification deemed to be equivalent. For students where English is not their first language or where their degree has not been studied in the English language, a score of at least 6.5 on IELTS (or equivalent) is required.
