Delivered by staff from the Media Innovation Studio and across the School of Journalism and Digital Communication, the MA in Media Innovation looks at the cause and effect of digital evolution both offline and online. It encompasses practical skills for digital content creation; looks at new ways of collaboration and co-production and examines the web of capital streams through potential revenue opportunities. It also presents the chance to study as part of multi-disciplinary teams, and to develop links with a number of digital industries. The MA ultimately investigates the power of technological innovation to connect people in myriads of new ways to co-create and build a sustainable future for all.
The ‘blended learning’ nature of the MA Media Innovation allows students both in Preston and beyond to study, and on a full-time or part-time basis.

•Typically a 2:2 or above or equivalent professional qualifications. •Evidence of appropriate computer literacy and internet access.•Evidence in the application that the candidate is active and engaged in an aspect of content generation/media management.•Evidence of a commitment to the blended learning approach to the course•International students are required to have an IELTS score of 7Applications from those with substantial industry experience are actively encouraged.
