MA Creative Thinking (Distance Learning)

Course Description

Do you work in Education?

If so, you may be interested in UCLan’s MA Creative Thinking distance learning course.

As educators, our ability to foster creative thinking in others is crucial. Our students will belong to a world where technological transformation will likely influence today’s conventions beyond recognition. We cannot predict this world, yet, the “ability” to think creatively will surely be a major asset. Whether we teach, train or coach, how to nurture creative thinking is a tacit, if not explicit aspiration for the education we offer.

“The MA Creative Thinking is a great program for distance learners. We have access to a plethora of books, journals, databases, etc. AND have face to face access with our professor each week. This is a huge benefit to me as a student…I get to have the psych of interacting with an expert who's really excited about creative thinking! I appreciate deeply the collegiality and respect I receive”. MA Creative Thinking Student, United States of America

The MA Creative Thinking, at UCLan, is all about gaining a detailed understanding of seminal and current research on creativity, and what this means for education and training. For an informal talk to discuss the course and your area of interest, contact Karl K. Jeffries via or 01772 895185. Further information about the course, previous and current student work is available via the Creativity Research Network at UCLan.
