MSc Midwifery & Women's Health

Course Description

This innovative course builds upon a successful programme that has run in the Faculty of Health and Social Care since 2000. The MSc combines multiple routes that lead to qualifications enabling students to practice at higher levels as consultant midwives, clinicians, managers or teachers (UK as well as overseas).

The course meets Nursing and Midwifery Council requirements for midwife teachers (dependent on modules undertaken). Students may access the course on site or by distance learning and it is available to both UK based and overseas midwives. All course material can be applied to different cultural needs of parturient women.

Visit the MSc Midwifery & Women's Health page on the University of Central Lancashire website for more details!
