The aim of this programme is to provide a framework which enables students to engage and critically evaluate contemporary thinking and its impact upon sexual health knowledge and practice. This new and exciting modular course is designed to meet the needs of the diverse changing workforce and is therefore suitable for a range of practitioners.
Compulsory modules explore and evaluate the specific knowledge and skills required for the study of sexual health at master’s level. Students will evaluate the underpinning philosophies and relationships which influence evidence-based practice within sexual health, covering critical thinking, moral reasoning, professionalism and skills development.
Optional modules are available to provide choice and flexibility enabling students to meet individual practice and professional needs. Students may be from a clinical or non-clinical background and may be employed within the NHS or alternative organisations.
