MA Social Work

Course Description

Social work is all about people. It is a rewarding and challenging career. Social workers help people to access services that will improve their lives and live more successfully within their communities, by helping them find solutions to their problems. The University of Central Lancashire offers the MA Social Work which equips students with the neccessary skills and values to practice as a quailifed social worker. Postgraduate students are eligible for a basic grant and may also apply for a range of discretionary payments dependant on circumstances. A contribution to tution fees is also made.

Entry Requirements

A relevant honours degree with a 2:2 classification or above (or equivalent); At least key skills level 2 in Maths and English; Relevant paid voluntary or caring experience.
