The LLM in International Commercial Law is designed to provide a flexible route for students with the option to study full or part-time starting in either September or January. In addition to the dissertation, the programme offers 15 credit modules which allows our students to be able to choose the route of study that best suits them. Students on completing the programme are expected to be able to critically analyse legal concepts as well as practical scenarios. Such knowledge is increasingly sought by law firms, businesses and government bodies all over the world in response to the expansion of international trade and commerce and international regulation.

Research and Research Centres
The Law School benefits from active research centres, particularly relevant to this course is the Intellectual Property, Internet & Media Research Centre and the Company and Commercial Law Research Group both regularly host research seminars and workshops. The Law School is particularly proud of its diverse events programme which supports the learning of our students and LLM students will be expected to actively participate.
The Brunel International Scholarships and Academic Excellence Scholarships (Postgraduate)
The Brunel International Scholarship Programme is an annual award run by the Brunel International office that is open to all international students. Its goal is to provide financial support to exceptional students. Scholarship holders will go on to represent Brunel as ambassadors throughout their time at the University. The deadline for applying for the 2014/15 programme is 25 May 2014 and all applicants will be notified of the panel's decision by the middle of July.For 2014/15, thanks to the generosity of Brunel’s alumni and supporters, we are pleased to be able to offer 37 awards, which will comprise a 15% discount on the cost of tuition fees. These awards are open to Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research students who are classed as overseas for fee purposes. International Scholarship on application, and the Academic Excellence Scholarship - you must have first class undergraduate degree from a UK University, either in the UK or abroad.
The normal requirement for admission to the LLM or to the Postgraduate Diploma will be a good undergraduate honours degree in law (or overseas equivalent) and an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent. The Course Director may consider other cases based on applicants’ qualifications, experience and potential successfully to undertake and complete the course.
