Education Management (Hong Kong) MSc

Course Description

Our MSc Education Management (Hong Kong) programme attracts high-achieving participants who are interested in a number of different perspectives on management and policy, and in how learning can be enhanced through a greater knowledge and understanding of leadership and management concepts. This Master's degree is designed for individuals from diverse educational backgrounds and establishments, and from other professions, united by a commitment to developing their understanding of the theory, research, policy and practice of leadership and management in education.

This programme will help develop your knowledge and understanding, prepare you for further research and provide a foundation for developing your career in education and associated disciplines. It is an opportunity for critical reflection on what you already know and for discussion of new ideas and opportunities.

This programme is delivered in Hong Kong, with an equivalent programme delivered in Bristol.

Programme structure

The programme is delivered in six intensively taught units and a 15,000-word dissertation. Units include:
-Introduction to Educational Inquiry.
-Managing People in Education.
-Contemporary Perspectives on Learning.
-Quality and Improvement in Education.

Entry Requirements

An international equivalent to a UK upper second-class honours degree, and a minimum of one year's appropriate professional experience in an educational setting.
