To be eligible, you'll need an upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) with a minimum average of 65%. While a background in philosophy is preferred, we welcome applications from other disciplines as long as you can demonstrate your aptitude and interest in the subject. Graduates from this programme have pursued careers as counsellors, journalists, and philosophy teachers, while others have continued their studies at MPhil/PhD level.

Entry Requirements

An upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) with a minimum average of 65%. This is usually in philosophy, however other students can apply. If your degree is not in Philosophy, we may ask you to provide a sample of your writing to demonstrate writing and research capability.
