Course overview

The Internet and Distributed Systems course will help you design and build secure, scalable internet applications and reusable software components.

This is a practical course which focuses on the development of applications and the management of data in a distributed environment.

An emphasis on practical issues and the current technologies used in the development of internet and distributed systems gives you the opportunity to conduct in-depth research into a specific issue in this area of computing. Entry Requirements

Either a good honours degree with a major computing content or three years industrial experience gained in a software development environment and a good honours degree.
