The Industrial Pharmaceutical Studies PGDip offers distance-learning training by which you can supplement an initial, relevant qualification to satisfy EU requirements for Qualified Person (QP) status.
A QP is responsible for the regulation of pharmaceuticals to ensure that they match industry standards in accordance with Eudralex, which governs the manufacture and trade of medicinal products.
If you are seeking QP status, you must have relevant practical experience additional to this course and arrange an oral examination with the relevant professional body.
Modules have been designed in cooperation with major pharmaceutical companies, and industrialists are associated with the detailed syllabus and operation of each module.
Degree and/or experience: Degree in pharmacy, medicine, veterinary medicine, chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, technology, biology. Professional qualifications/experience. Equivalent qualification acceptable for membership of appropriate professional body.For non-native speakers of English: IELTS 6.5 overall and 6.0 in writing.
