Sequential Design and Illustration MA

Course Description

The programme is conceived and designed primarily to support individual projects that develop an informed critical and imaginative response to the serial nature of the subject. Students come from all art and design disciplines and are concerned with investigating sequence and storytelling through a variety of forms, which may include illustrated books, graphic novels, stage and exhibition design, animation, film, book arts and narrative textiles. Students will propose and undertake practical projects that are supported through individual tutorials, seminars, work-in-progress presentations and a wide range of weekly lectures.
