Course Description

The MSc Computing is designed specifically for graduates who have specialised in the technical sector of computing and IT professionals who are already working in this area.

Masters Taught Excellence Scholarship - 3 Awards

The Masters Taught Excellence Scholarship can be awarded to full-time UK, EU, and International Masters students, irrespective of their financial means.In order to receive this Scholarship, applicants must have completed and submitted an application form which can be downloaded from http://www.bolton.ac.uk/pgfinance Please note that this Scholarship is only available to students undertaking their first Masters course.For more information about this scholarship please visit http://www.bolton.ac.uk/pgfinance or contact the Student Funding Advisor, Karen Bentley on 01204 903497

Eligibility

You must have been awarded a First-Class Honours Degree (or equivalent) from a UK or EU institution.
You must be studying a full-time taught masters at the University of Bolton campus in Bolton.
You must not be in receipt of any other offer, i.e. Alumni Discount or any other fee reduction.
You must not be in receipt of any other kind of sponsorship towards your tuition fees, for example from an employer.
The course of study must have commenced in September 2014 or later.

Entry Requirements

You should have at least a second class UK honours degree (2:2), or an equivalent qualification, in a computing or computing-related subject that involved a significant level of programming. If you lack this qualification but have a significant level of professional experience your application will be considered, and you may be accepted at the discretion of the programme leader.
