MSc International Management

Course Description

This programme is for students who want a management career that takes them around the world or who will work within international organisations with multi-country operations. The focus will be on global decision-making and the role of management in a cross-cultural context.

Overseas students wishing to study in a different culture will find this course attractive, as will UK students wanting to develop international knowledge and experience of a wide range of cultures.

The course will develop your intellectual capabilities of research, critique, synthesis and innovation, culminating in a masters’ level dissertation. You will develop academic and professional skills that will allow opportunities for career development and further study. You will also gain lifelong learning skills and develop on a personal level so that you are able to work with self-direction and originality and to contribute to business and society at large.

Masters Taught Excellence Scholarship - 3 Awards

The Masters Taught Excellence Scholarship can be awarded to full-time UK, EU, and International Masters students, irrespective of their financial means.In order to receive this Scholarship, applicants must have completed and submitted an application form which can be downloaded from http://www.bolton.ac.uk/pgfinance Please note that this Scholarship is only available to students undertaking their first Masters course.For more information about this scholarship please visit http://www.bolton.ac.uk/pgfinance or contact the Student Funding Advisor, Karen Bentley on 01204 903497

Value of Scholarship(s)



You must have been awarded a First-Class Honours Degree (or equivalent) from a UK or EU institution.
You must be studying a full-time taught masters at the University of Bolton campus in Bolton.
You must not be in receipt of any other offer, i.e. Alumni Discount or any other fee reduction.
You must not be in receipt of any other kind of sponsorship towards your tuition fees, for example from an employer.
The course of study must have commenced in September 2014 or later.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have a UK honours degree/postgraduate degree (or equivalent). For applicants who have not studied their previous qualifications in English a TOEFL score of at least 575 (written)/230 (computer-based) or an academic IELTS score of at least 6.5 will be required.
