MA Inclusive Education

Course Description

The MA Inclusive Education is an advanced and flexible course which meets the professional development needs of experienced educationalists. It is directly relevant to the realities of working in different roles in educational environments, with a particular focus on inclusive education. Assignments are tailored towards your own working environment and experience.

The MA Inclusive Education is a named award within the MEd Professional Development scheme. In the first instance applicants should apply for the MEd Professional Development.

All advanced courses in education at the University of Bolton focus on clear principles: learners and learning, professional practice in education and training, and quality and excellence in professional development.

What you will learn

This course allows rigorous academic investigations into education, and issues in inclusive education in particular. You will acquire a range of advanced skills and abilities necessary to enable you to pursue the demands of your chosen programme successfully.

You will learn how to explore educational research and make informed comment on the applicability, relevance and usefulness of theories, concepts, models, methodologies and techniques applied to practice.

Masters Taught Excellence Scholarship - 3 Awards

The Masters Taught Excellence Scholarship can be awarded to full-time UK, EU, and International Masters students, irrespective of their financial means.In order to receive this Scholarship, applicants must have completed and submitted an application form which can be downloaded from http://www.bolton.ac.uk/pgfinance Please note that this Scholarship is only available to students undertaking their first Masters course.For more information about this scholarship please visit http://www.bolton.ac.uk/pgfinance or contact the Student Funding Advisor, Karen Bentley on 01204 903497

Value of Scholarship(s)



You must have been awarded a First-Class Honours Degree (or equivalent) from a UK or EU institution.
You must be studying a full-time taught masters at the University of Bolton campus in Bolton.
You must not be in receipt of any other offer, i.e. Alumni Discount or any other fee reduction.
You must not be in receipt of any other kind of sponsorship towards your tuition fees, for example from an employer.
The course of study must have commenced in September 2014 or later.
